PLANT-POWERED BEAUTY: THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO USING NATURAL INGREDIENTS
I’m always on the hunt for finding better, way natural ways to care for my skin and improve the clarity, texture, and glow of my skin. I’m so excited about the new book Plant-Powered Beauty; the book focuses on sharing easy-to-follow beauty recipes for the face, skin, and hair. The concept is simple, inspire readers to take a natural approach to beauty vs. using products that are potentially harmful to our bodies.
WHY I LOVE THIS BOOK & YOU WILL TOO
I love the approach of Plant-Powered Beauty, breaking down step-by-step on how to use the book, along with decoding how our skin works, what type of skin you have and how to naturally care for it. I also love the beauty ingredient chart explaining the vitamin content, the benefits, and therapeutic attributes. From body butter, clay and scrubs this book has it all. I was a little nervous that some of the natrual ingredients needed for the recipes would be hard to find, but many can be found at your local natrual foods store. I love how it shares that most of the equipment needed to create your beauty products can be found in your kitchen.
RECIPES I PLAN ON TRYING
There are so many recipes in the book I’m excited to make and gift! For myself, I plan on making the Cellulite-Buster Body Scrub to help improve the way it looks and improve skin tone and circulation. I mean, who wouldn’t want to help banish it! I also plan on making Cuticle Oil and give my cuticles daily moisturizing. The Lotion Bars are 232, also look incredible and perfect for colder days, I think they would also make fantastic gifts! Take a peak inside the book.
