One of my long-term goals for my patio in my backyard is to make it feel like an extension of my home and create a fantastic outdoor living area. Over the past four years, I've been working towards that goal. We added a large dining table our space, outdoor sofa and chairs and a coffee table. Here's a reminder of our patio looked a few years ago, complete blank slate, read more about the patio updates I've tackled over the years here
For the past two years, I’ve wanted to add an outdoor console table and move our DIY Bar Cart to our front porch. It wasn't an absolute need until this Summer that a console table would be the perfect addition.
When hosting a few parties in our backyard and having friends over this Summer, I realized we had no legit spot to hold food, drinks (including large drink dispensers) and plates, etc. I didn’t want to rent a table, so instead, we improvised and used my desk! Yes, it worked, but my desk is entirely for indoor use, lol!
I love how our Indio Sofa & Coffee table looks on our patio and opted to go with the same furniture line for our console table. I love the slight weathered grey look of the wood, it complements our dark house perfectly. While I’m not a huge fan of matchy matchy outside hence I opted for streamlined wicker style lounge chairs I love how the Indio console table pulls the look of our entire patio together. I'm just loving the length of the console table, YAY for having a table that can hold all the things!
I’m also in love with the length and bottom shelf; it gives me plenty of room for baskets spot to hold extra drinks etc. Eventually, we’d love to add pull-down movie screen for outdoor movie nights! Slowly this outdoor space is coming together! I just love hanging out here in the evenings and spending time outside.
