Favs from West Elm

West Elm is one of those stores you walk into and you just love the spaces they've created for your to enjoy. It's literally like a feast for your eyes. If you don't live near one, I'm sure you've received their mailer and looked though it like it as a magazine. I stopped in there over the weekend to pick up a little present for my nightstand (totally at the finish line in the project and sharing this week!) I just had to share a few of the lovelies that caught my attention when I was in there!

Here's my thoughts on using these pieces in your home. 1. Start a collection of vases in varying shads, they looked so pretty grouped together on a dining table, bookshelf or mantle. 2. I told Hasani while we were in West Elm, people should always have extra money to change out light fixtures on any whim! This pretty capiz light would look amazing in a bedroom or going up a staircase or foyer. 3. Perfect accents for side tables in bookcases 4. I love this pouf, I'm going to totally stalk it it for our living room! I've seen it in person and trust me its even cuter, perfect in a kids room or living room, one of those unexpected conversation pieces. 5. I'm very slowly falling in love with gold accents, aren't these cheese servers darling. They'd look amazing on slate cheese or wood board, totally dress your party up. 6. This little vintage inspired chair would look cute pretty much anywhere and of course the color is fantastic!

What are your personal Favs at West Elm lately?

Color Crush Chartreuse

It's no secret, I'm head of heals in love with shades of Chartreuse. For me the color Chartreuse is sweet spot on the color wheel in-between shades of green and yellow The color seems to be sprinkled throughout our entire house from our front door to Avery's DIY Roman shades. What can I say, the color just looks so good in our home and could totally look amazing in your home too! Here's so pretty fun ways to incorporate the color in your own space in small doses.

1. Vase via Crate & Barell 2. Chartreuse Artwork from Etsy sellers JessKastlerDesigns (love this print) & Menseldesign 3. Tuscan Trellis Rug via Rugs USA 4. Ovo Lamp from Lamps Plus 5. Clock from Foreside Home & Garden

Of course if you can't find the right Chartreuse decor piece for your home, there's always the magic of spray paint, remember those too grown up feeling bookends? Once I sprayed them a happy shade of Chartreuse, they looked perfect in Avery's room

Totally smitten with how the homes below incorporated the chartreuse color in bold fun ways into the color palette of the room.

The color palette infused with aqua, chartreuse and grey is right up my homes color palette! This just screams happy relaxing and playful.
