BBQ Pepperoni Pizza

During the warm Summer months in Northern California we love to be outside grilling up yummy food to eat. In our house, Hasani is the grill master and we love trying out new grilling recipes check out our BBQ Carnitas recipe we shared last year here. We love grilling pizzas on the grill, its such a simple and easy crowd pleasing meal.

BBQ Pepperoni Pizza

Here's my fuss free recipe for BBQ Pepperoni Pizza, if you want to use fresh pizza dough I recommend this recipe or using Trader Joe's pizza dough and place the rolled out dough on a pizza stone. We've used a pizza stone in the past and loved the results [it's on our buy again list]

1 Pre-made Pizza Crust
Pizza Sauce or use 1 can of tomato sauce and mix in Italian herbs
1/2 Cup of Shredded cheese
20 slices of Pepperoni Slices
1/4 Cup of Parmesan Cheese

Making the Pizza

Simply spread the pizza sauce on the dough and top with cheese, pepperoni and more cheese and then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Place pizza directly on grill if your using a pre-made pizza dough [place on pizza stone if your using fresh dough] Cook pizza for 10-15 minutes on low with in-direct heat until dough is desired crispness and cheese is melted. Cut your pizza and enjoy its yummy cheesy goodness.
